KARACHI: Pakistan’s total liquid foreign reserves have reached to US$15,577.5 million on 09 August 2019 with an inflow of $500 million from ADB.
According to data released by the State Bank of Pakistan, total liquid foreign exchange reserves have reached $15.577 billion including $8.264 billion held by the State Bank of Pakistan and $7.313 held by commercial banks.
During the week ending 09 August 2019, SBP’s reserves increased by US$535 million to US$8,264.4 million. The increase in SBP’s reserves is mainly due to inflow of US$500 million received from Asian Development Bank (ADB).
Reserves with the State Bank of Pakistan are highest in last six weeks.
